Doctors conducted comprehensive health checks for the children, focusing on assessing motor development, early detection of abnormalities in the musculoskeletal system, movement, flat feet, language dysfunction, and intellectual disability.
Nearly 600 children were examined at the program. Through examination, over 170 children were found to have diseases such as: flat feet, X-shaped feet, O-shaped feet, rickets, slow speech, lisp, slow mental development, hyperactivity... requiring intervention and referral to higher levels for further examination and treatment. At the examination tables, doctors also advised and guided parents on abnormal signs and risks of congenital malformations in children.
Through the program, it aims to detect malformations at an early stage, helping children receive timely intervention and treatment, restoring their eating, speaking, hearing, vision, and aesthetic functions to develop healthily, confidently communicate, study, and integrate into the community and society. At the same time, it contributes to reducing long-term medical costs, reducing the number of severe malformations requiring complex surgeries; reducing the burden and psychological and financial pressure on families when caring for children with disabilities.
