On the morning of November 10, comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and shared the Great Unity Day with the people of Ban Hinh village, Minh Tan commune.

Ban Hinh village has 144 households, 647 people, with 7 ethnic groups living together. In recent years, despite many difficulties, the cadres and people in the village have promoted the spirit of solidarity, strived to effectively implement the 5 contents of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" and patriotic emulation movements.

The poverty rate in the village has decreased to 31%; the rate of school-age children has reached 100%; every year the number of families achieving the title of cultural family has reached more than 95%.

The highlight is that the village has successfully carried out the movement to eliminate backward customs and practices, and build a civilized lifestyle in the community. Up to now, many bad customs in funerals and weddings have been eliminated, such as not letting a person die for more than 24 hours and not more than 12 hours for people with infectious diseases. The village no longer has early marriages or incestuous marriages, and there are no cases of giving birth to a third child; good customs and practices, and traditional festivals of ethnic minorities are preserved and promoted.

Focus on mobilizing good implementation of environmental management and protection, completing the road system, power grid for households without electricity.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh also hopes that Ban Hinh village needs to continue to unite, preserve, conserve, and promote cultural identity, and have new directions in tourism and service development. Pay attention to the education and training of the young generation, especially in studying, raising awareness and knowledge, and actively participating in "Digital Literacy for the People".
