Le Loi 2 Hamlet - a typical cultural residential area

Attending and sharing the joy with the cadres, party members and people of Le Loi 2 hamlet were Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thai.

Le Loi 2 Hamlet currently has more than 700 households, with nearly 3,200 people, of which Catholics account for 98%. People's lives mainly depend on agricultural production.

During the year, cadres, party members and people in the hamlet united and actively participated in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in the locality, contributing to achieving and surpassing the targets of socio- economic development, national defense and security. The rate of well-off and wealthy households increased. The hamlet has been awarded the title of cultural hamlet for many consecutive years; the rate of cultural families reached over 99%. Social security policies were well implemented, during the year, mobilizing the construction and repair of 2 charity houses, with a total value of 210 million VND; giving nearly 60 gifts worth nearly 15 million VND to disadvantaged households on the occasion of holidays and Tet.

Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Thai expressed her joy and excitement at the results that Le Loi 2 Hamlet has achieved in the past time. At the same time, she hopes that the Hamlet Board will continue to pay more attention to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and work with the people to solve practical problems in daily life. People in the hamlet continue to promote the spirit of self-management, solidarity, and humanity, actively participate in monitoring and giving opinions to build the Party and government; join hands to maintain security and order, protect the environment, and care for the poor and disadvantaged.

On this occasion, comrade Le Thi Thai presented a symbolic plaque of 10 million VND from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the typical cultural residential area of Le Loi 2 hamlet. Standing Deputy Secretary of Gia Kiem Commune Party Committee Le Thanh Chung presented 5 gifts from the province, each worth 1 million VND to the typical cultural families of the hamlet.

From mobilized sources, Le Loi 2 hamlet gave 20 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the hamlet.
