More than 400 volunteers from Thanh Liet ward responded to Blood Donation Day

From early morning, a large number of cadres, party members, union members, association members and people in the ward were present at the ward's Cultural - Information and Sports Center to participate in blood donation. The festival atmosphere was exciting, warm, imbued with the spirit of sharing and affection.

With the message "Every drop of blood given - a life saved", the program attracted more than 400 volunteers to register to participate.

At the end of the blood donation session, the Organizing Committee received 379 units of safe blood, reaching 125% of the city's plan, contributing to supplementing the blood reserve to serve emergency work and patient treatment.

Sharing after donating blood, an official from the Department of Culture and Society of Nguyen Van Hiep Ward said: "I have donated blood many times and each time I feel very happy, because I know that my blood can help save other people's lives. I hope that more and more people will join so that the voluntary blood donation movement of my ward will grow."

Participating in donating blood for the first time, Pham Phuong Huyen, a member of the Trang residential group's Youth Union, shared: "At first, I was a bit worried, but after receiving careful instructions from the doctors, I felt very secure. After donating blood, I felt very happy and proud to have contributed a small part to helping the patients. I will definitely continue to participate in the next rounds."
