On the morning of November 3, Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television in coordination with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Youth Union, and Lam Dong Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized the scholarship awarding program "White Chrysanthemum - Continuing to School" for Le Thi Hong Thoa - Class 7A1, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School, Tien Thanh Ward (Lam Dong).

Thoa has a particularly difficult situation, without a father, her mother left early to find new happiness. Currently, Thoa is living with her grandmother (65 years old) who makes a living by picking up sea urchins at the beach or doing whatever jobs anyone hires her to do. Even in her old age, Thoa's grandmother has to work hard to support her three grandchildren who are still in school age (Thoa and two cousins ​​left behind by her aunt).

The life of the four grandmothers and grandchildren was very difficult, lacking everything. However, Thoa was not discouraged by her circumstances. On the contrary, she tried even harder to achieve good results in studying and training.

From the school's connection with the program, it has received a lot of sharing and support from units, businesses, benefactors inside and outside the province, along with cadres, teachers, staff and students of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School.

The total amount of money that the program "White Chrysanthemum - Continuing to School" has mobilized and given to Thoa is more than 115 million VND. Of which, Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television mobilized more than 65 million VND; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province awarded a scholarship of 13 million VND; the Lam Dong Association for the Promotion of Education awarded a scholarship of 3 million VND; the Spreading Love Charity Association donated 5 million VND and promised to give Thoa a scholarship of 5 million VND every year at the beginning of the new school year until she goes to university...
