Faced with the complicated developments of storm Kalmaegi, on the afternoon of November 4, the People's Committee of Ninh Hai commune held an urgent meeting to deploy storm prevention and control work.

Accordingly, the commune has directed villages, departments, offices, and socio-political organizations to urgently review and update storm information; notify aquaculture households, sea tourism businesses, and boat owners to proactively tie down cages, anchor vehicles, and not go to sea during the storm. The work of calling on boats operating at sea to take shelter in safe places has been vigorously implemented. At the same time, the commune coordinated to inspect the canal system, reservoirs, and irrigation works, ensuring safety and preparing a response plan in case of an incident. Areas at risk of landslides and flooding were carefully reviewed, and plans for evacuation of people were developed when necessary.

In the field of agricultural production, the commune recommends that people harvest crops early, reinforce barns, and protect crops and livestock. At the same time, strengthen propaganda through loudspeaker systems and community information groups, ensuring that people promptly grasp weather forecasts and prevention instructions. Militia, police and Youth Union forces are on standby to support when requested.

Ninh Hai Commune People's Committee also maintains a 24/7 duty regime, closely monitors storm developments, promptly reports and handles arising situations, determined to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and stabilize the area.
