Accordingly, since November 2025, the National Economics University has established Committees, Working Groups and Admission Councils including: Steering Committee, Working Group to research and determine training capacity, university admission targets; Steering Committee, Research Committee to draft and build university admission information in 2026; University Admission Councils in 2026.
The National Economics University Admissions Council will meet to approve the plan and information for university admission in 2026 (first time) in December 2025.
From January 2026, the Training Management Units will preside over and coordinate with faculties/institutes and units throughout the University to prepare conditions for organizing admission consultation and enrollment: software; information technology infrastructure, physical facilities, etc.; then deploy admission consultation work.
The official Draft Admission Information (Admission Plan) will be completed in January - February 2026.
Before February 15, 2026, the National Economics University Admissions Council will meet to approve the 2026 university admission plan and information (official); and announce it on the University's electronic information page.

The implementation of the 2026 enrollment work will be carried out according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training and the enrollment schedule of the National Economics University. Candidates admitted to the regular university system are expected to confirm their enrollment on August 14, while candidates of other systems will follow their own plans.
The 2026 regular university opening ceremony is expected to be on September 6; the enrollment summary is expected to be in October 2026.
Previously, on October 31, the National Economics University held a conference to summarize regular university admissions in 2025 and set out directions for admissions in 2026 with the motto of "stabilizing" the scale and admission methods as in 2025.
Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the Enrollment Plan, on November 5, the University Working Group met and approved the 2026 enrollment plan.
