In addition, the unit also developed disaster response scenarios, reinforced key items, especially in response to storm No. 13; directed specialized departments and affiliated branches to regularly update and monitor weather developments to operate and regulate reservoirs accordingly; strictly implemented monitoring and reporting regimes according to regulations.
Colonel Cao Van Muoi, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5, emphasized: Given the complicated developments of storm No. 13, regulating the water volume of the hydroelectric dam system is very important, especially as releasing water at a large flow will cause flooding in the downstream area. Therefore, the unit is required to proactively respond and reasonably regulate the water volume. Proactively prepare full scenarios for water regulation and the unit's backup power systems, ensuring absolute safety during the upcoming storm No. 13.
