On the morning of November 7, through her personal social media account, Ms. So Thi Ngo (residing in Tan Hai village, Tay Son commune) sent her thanks to the Tay Son commune police for crossing the forest to overcome the storm, supporting her family to bring her child to the hospital safely for emergency treatment.
Ms. So Thi Ngo said that on the evening of November 6, when storm No. 13 made landfall, there was strong wind and heavy rain outside. Her daughter, So Thi Truc Xinh (born 2022), suddenly had a stomachache and was crying. At that time, the storm was very strong, no one dared to leave the house to take her to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Immediately after receiving the news, Lieutenant Colonel Chu Quoc Doanh, Chief of the Commune Police, directed Major Tong Quang Phuong, Captain Pham Dinh Than and Lieutenant Phung Xuan Hien to quickly go through the storm, cross more than 45 km of forest road, and pass many fallen trees along the road to bring Truc Xinh to Son Hoa Medical Center for emergency treatment.
“At that time, the road was dangerous and the wind was very strong. Trees fell all over the road, and the police had to try to pull them out. When we got close to the hospital, the fallen tree blocked the road, so we had to take another detour. When we got to the hospital, the tree fell again, and we carried our child to the emergency room. We are very grateful to the Tay Son Commune Police for their support in helping our family in this difficult time,” Ms. So Thi Ngo emotionally wrote.
