As of the morning of November 6, the water level of 64 reservoirs, including 53 irrigation reservoirs and 11 hydroelectric reservoirs, was at 585.79 million m3/752.7 million m3, reaching 78% of the design capacity. Some large reservoirs are regulating (with flow rates from 20-400 m3/s) to ensure flood capacity.
The province has a total of 3,451 rafts/106,106 aquaculture cages, with 8,331 workers. Workers on the rafts are required to move ashore before 12 noon on November 6. The province has a total of 6,953 boats, with 36,498 workers; of which 323 boats, with 2,734 workers are operating at sea, no vehicles are in dangerous areas.
Currently, forces and localities are focusing on informing fishermen, aquaculture households on rafts; tourist boats, cargo ships, and sea vehicles to know the time to stop fishing, transporting, and circulating at sea from 12:00 on November 6 until the storm is over; instructing people to anchor rafts and boats to ensure safety. For people on rafts and boats, they must return to shore (mandatory) before 12:00 on November 6 until the storm is over. Localities organize to instruct people to reinforce and brace their houses; arrange forces to guard and block off culverts, spillways, and areas with deep flooding and fast-flowing water, not allowing vehicles and people to circulate to ensure safety.
To ensure safety for people and vehicles operating at inland waterway ports and on Nha Trang Bay, the authorities have urgently notified more than 300 vehicles operating at the port; promptly disseminated weather developments, provided guidance on prevention and continuously updated information at each time; temporarily suspended departure procedures for passenger vehicles when there was a warning of strong winds and waves; organized continuous radio warnings through loudspeakers at the port; sent notifications via Zalo group to vehicle owners to ensure the fastest reception of information.
