The event, held in the Thai Hoc courtyard of the Temple of Literature - National University, showcased and promoted the distinctive products and finest traditional crafts of representative craft villages in Hanoi , Hue, Ninh Binh, and the Central Highlands.

In her opening remarks, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , Le Thi Anh Mai, emphasized: The theme "Convergence of Heritage" not only signifies the connection of the three ancient capitals of Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh) - Thang Long (Hanoi) - Phu Xuan (Hue), but also represents the convergence of cultural regions across the country, from the lowlands to the highlands, from the fertile Red River Delta to the majestic Central Highlands.

Visiting the Temple of Literature - National University, tourists can experience and explore the distinctive features of: Bat Trang pottery, Ha Thai lacquerware, Chuong village conical hats, Thuong Tin embroidery, ethnic cakes (Hanoi); lotus leaf conical hats, sedge handicrafts, sesame candy, Hue cakes; Kim Son sedge weaving, Ninh Hai embroidery, crispy rice (Ninh Binh); Buon Le brocade weaving - Dak Lak, brocade weaving in Chu Mom Ray National Park, Zèng brocade weaving in A Luoi, Ede coffee, Ngoc Linh ginseng (Central Highlands)...

Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Cultural and Scientific Activities Center of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám, shared that the "Heritage Convergence" program aims to connect craft villages nationwide, spreading cultural values and the awareness of preserving heritage of Vietnamese ethnic communities to domestic and international tourists.

The Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025 will be widely implemented in various spaces throughout the capital city. Among them, the Temple of Literature - National University will be the main venue for this cultural and artistic event, featuring a series of activities including exhibitions, workshops, and seminars.

The program runs until November 16th.
