On November 2, many villages in Tuy Phong commune (Lam Dong province) were severely affected by heavy rains flowing from upstream into the stream, combined with water from the suspected broken reservoir of the Trang Trai Viet project flowing down, causing damage to many properties and killing one person.

Reporters noted that Tuy Tinh 1 and Tuy Tinh 2 villages and village 2 were severely affected by heavy rain from upstream flowing into Tang Lai stream, Ho Tao, Mang-Cay Ca stream and Long Song lake area.

Many areas of agricultural land, houses, canals, rural roads and small irrigation works were damaged.
