HNP - On November 2, Phuong Liet Ward People's Committee held the Opening Ceremony of the 1st Sports Congress in 2025. The event is a practical activity to celebrate the country's major holidays, towards the 11th Capital Sports Congress and contribute to spreading the physical training movement following the example of great Uncle Ho.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Phuong Liet Ward People's Committee Ngo Minh Hong affirmed: The first Ward Sports Congress is an important activity, not only to demonstrate the mass sports force but also to strengthen solidarity, community cohesion and improve the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh 's teachings on the role of physical education and sports for the health and prosperity of the nation, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Phuong Liet Ward have focused on investing in facilities and organizing many diverse sports activities such as badminton, table tennis, aerobics, volleyball, chess, etc. These movements have created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, attracting a large number of people to participate in regular practice, while discovering and nurturing many outstanding athletes to participate in city-level competitions, achieving many high achievements.

The first Phuong Liet Ward Sports Festival has 8 competitions, with many contents for age groups and agencies, schools, enterprises, armed forces, officials, civil servants and people in the area. This is an opportunity for people of all walks of life to demonstrate their spirit of solidarity, honesty and high determination in competition, contributing to the effective implementation of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

* Also on November 2, Phuong Liet Ward People's Committee organized a training conference on state management documents on health for non-public medical and pharmaceutical facilities in the ward. The conference aimed to raise awareness, tighten management and build a safe and transparent medical environment for people's health. Organizing the training is a step to concretize the Politburo 's Resolutions on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health, while encouraging the development of the private economy in the health sector.

Currently, in the ward, there are 4 large hospitals and nearly 170 non-public medical and pharmaceutical establishments, with many types such as hospitals, polyclinics, medical service establishments, pharmacies, etc. The private health system has developed strongly in both quantity and quality, with modern investment in facilities and a team of highly qualified doctors and nurses, contributing to reducing the burden on upper-level health care and improving the quality of health care for the people.

Pharmaceutical establishments have also been upgraded in terms of facilities, meeting good practice standards, ensuring timely and quality supply of drugs. In general, the units have complied well with professional regulations and legal regulations, but there are still some problems such as advertising beyond the scope, not implementing electronic prescriptions, violating the Law on Pharmacy and the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.

At the Conference, Dr. Pham Xuan Anh - Deputy Head of the Department of Medical Affairs, Hanoi Department of Health; Master - Pharmacist Dieu Huy Quan Anh - Specialist of the Department of Pharmaceutical Affairs - Hanoi Department of Health, and General Secretary of the Vietnam Medical Informatics Association Nguyen Huu Trong disseminated many important contents, helping non-public medical facilities grasp the new regulations, comply with the law and professional ethics.

Phuong Liet Ward People's Committee also requires medical examination and treatment facilities to strictly comply with professional technical procedures, operate within the licensed scope, and ensure that facilities, medical equipment and human resources meet standards. In particular, electronic prescriptions must be completed before January 1, 2026.
