Provincial Party Secretary Le Minh Ngan requested agencies and units to coordinate well with localities to speed up the project's progress.

Inspecting the actual construction site of Phong Tho Primary and Secondary Boarding School, the Provincial Party Secretary and the working delegation listened to a quick report on the project implementation. Accordingly, the Phong Tho Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project was built on two plots of land with a total area of 6.15 hectares. The project was invested synchronously and completed with 30 classrooms, serving about 1,000 students.

The construction unit is determined to speed up progress and complete the project as scheduled.

Up to now, the work of surveying the terrain, geology, and preparing the Feasibility Study Report Design Document has been completed to prepare for the next steps, including: Speeding up the procedures for submitting the Construction Drawing Design Approval; speeding up the construction progress to complete and hand over for use in May 2026.

The working group inspected the field of the Phong Tho Primary and Secondary Boarding School Construction Investment Project.

Provincial Party Secretary Le Minh Ngan emphasized that the Party and State's policy on building schools for border communes is a very correct policy, supported and recognized by the people, who recognize the importance and significance of this policy. The Provincial Party Committee resolutely directed the construction of primary and secondary boarding schools for 11 border communes in the province, starting construction of 5 schools in 2025 and putting them into use before August 30, 2026, including Phong Tho Primary and Secondary Boarding School. The Secretary welcomed the determination of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, investors and especially the construction unit (contractor) who have focused resources to implement the project. To ensure the project's progress, the Secretary requested: The Provincial Land Fund Development Center to complete compensation for people in the next 1-2 days. Requesting the People's Committee of Phong Tho commune to urgently allocate land to implement the project; have security plans for contractors working at the site.

The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee to send a document requesting PetroVietnam Group to promptly transfer the support funds to implement the project, and assigned the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works to work directly with PetroVietnam Group on receiving the support funds. If necessary, the provincial budget will be advanced to ensure the progress of project implementation.
