Opening of training courses to improve capacity for grassroots information officers in 2025

On the morning of November 3, 2025, at Him Lam Eco-tourism Area, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the Opening Ceremony of training courses to improve capacity for grassroots information officers in 2025. This is an activity under the Information Poverty Reduction Sub-project under Project 6 on Communication and Information Poverty Reduction in the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Chuyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuoi - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dien Bien Newspaper and Radio and Television; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh - Vice Chairman of Pu Nhi Commune People's Committee; Mr. Lo Van Mai - Vice Chairman of Muong Luan Commune People's Committee and representatives of leaders of departments and units under the Department; Master Ngo Thi Oanh - Lecturer of Information Technology, Vietnam Women's Academy and students who are leaders, civil servants and public employees of the Department of Culture - Society , General Service Centers of communes and wards.

In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Chuyen affirmed: grassroots information plays an important role in conveying the Party and State's guidelines and policies to the people; therefore, improving the capacity and skills of grassroots information staff is an urgent task in the current period.

In 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize 04 training courses to improve the capacity of grassroots information officers, taking place from November 3 to November 15, 2025, with a duration of 03 days/class. The training course includes 08 key topics, focusing on legal knowledge, communication skills and application of technology and AI in grassroots information work, helping trainees apply effectively in practice, contributing to improving the quality of propaganda at the local level.

Right after the opening ceremony, the students started their first class with a serious and enthusiastic spirit, promising to bring many practical results, contributing to building an increasingly strong grassroots information staff team, meeting the current digital transformation requirements.
