At sea, in coastal areas and offshore, there may be strong winds of level 10-11, gusting to level 13 or higher; high waves, rough seas, threatening the safety of boats, fishery cages and coastal works.

At the meeting, delegates reported on the preparation work to respond to storm No. 13, and proposed solutions to ensure the safety of people's lives and property, as well as the safety of works and infrastructure in the area.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to regularly update information on storm No. 13. The Department of Education and Training is assigned to assess the situation and coordinate with localities to decide on plans for students to stay home from school. The People's Committees of communes, wards, businesses and organizations consider and decide to let officials and employees take time off, except for those on duty to participate in storm prevention.

Prepare rescue forces at the Ministry, the Defense Command and key points; as well as fully prepare means to participate in rescue. Develop plans to ensure electricity and communication safety. Establish forward and regional command centers.
