According to the Management Board of urban infrastructure construction investment projects and economic zones, industrial parks of Hai Phong city, up to now, the Nam Dinh Vu sea dike construction investment project in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone has been basically completed.
Completed items include: Construction of dike slope rock, dike foundation, embankment of dike body, installation of precast components, pouring concrete for breakwater walls, construction of dike surface under package 10, section from K10+246 to K15+022, culvert A3 and service road; package 13 construction of section from K2+253 to K10+246 and culverts A1, A2.
The Nam Dinh Vu sea dyke project in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone, implemented in the period of 2011-2025, is invested by the Management Board of Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Projects and Economic Zones, Industrial Parks. The total investment is nearly 2,300 billion VND from the Central and City budgets and other legal capital sources (capital contributed by enterprises).
The project to build the Nam Dinh Vu sea dike is 12,769 m long, starting from K2+253 (first adjusted dike route) to the end point at K15+022 (intersection with Tan Vu - Lach Huyen road). The total land use area is 77.07 ha.
The project, when completed and put into use, will contribute to the effective implementation of natural disaster prevention, protection of life and property safety, and works operated by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in Dinh Vu, creating conditions for sustainable development of Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone and ensuring national defense and security in Hai Phong coastal areas.
