According to the hydrometeorological agency, at 4:00 a.m. on November 6, the center of storm 13 was at about 13.3 degrees North latitude; 113.3 degrees East longitude, about 450 km East Southeast of Quy Nhon (Gia Lai). The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 14 (150 - 166 km/h), gusting to level 17. Moving in the West Northwest direction, speed about 30 km/h.

At 4:00 p.m. on November 6, the storm was at position 4.8N-107.7E, on the western border area of ​​Quang Ngai province - Southern Laos, with intensity of level 9, gusting to level 11. At 4:00 p.m. on November 7, it was at position 15.7N-104.9E; on the eastern area of ​​Thailand, moving deep inland and weakening into a tropical depression, then a low pressure area.

Coastal areas of Dak Lak province have storm surges of 0.3 - 0.6 m. From the evening of November 6, coastal areas of Dak Lak province are on guard against rising sea levels accompanied by large waves causing flooding in low-lying areas, waves overflowing dikes, coastal roads, coastal erosion, slowing down flood drainage in the area. All ships, boats, and aquaculture areas in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are strongly affected by wind, whirlwinds, strong winds, large waves, and rising sea levels.

Heavy rain warning, from the afternoon of November 6 to noon of November 7, in Dak Lak province there will be heavy to very heavy rain, with total rainfall: Eastern region (Tuy Hoa, Son Hoa, Song Hinh, Tay Hoa, Phu Hoa, Dong Hoa, Tuy An, Dong Xuan, Song Cau) from 200 - 300 mm, some places over 400 mm/period.
