In Nam Phuoc and Dien Ban Tay communes, schools such as Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School, Duy Vinh Kindergarten, Phan Boi Chau Primary School... the water has receded but there is still a thick layer of mud. The objects in the classrooms are wet, the tables and chairs are severely damaged. As soon as they arrived, about 200 students from the University of Technology - Danang University divided the work, clearing mud, wiping tables and chairs, arranging supplies and cleaning the school grounds.
Danang College, a volunteer team of 50 students from the Faculty of Electricity - Electronics, Mechanics, and Automation came to help people repair electrical appliances, motorbikes, and electrical systems in their homes. The school's "0 Dong Supermarket" also increased its campaign to collect donations of clothes and supplies to support flood victims.
Mr. Tran Nam Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the city has agreed to spend 200 billion VND from the budget to support people and repair essential infrastructure after the floods. The immediate priority is to stabilize people's lives, ensure food, drinking water and necessities for people.

On November 1, the spirit of sharing and reaching out to flood victims continued to spread strongly in Hue City. Many organizations, individuals, businesses and functional forces joined hands to support and help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives. During the day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received 10 billion VND from the Heart Start Fund to support overcoming damage after floods. Hue City Police received 30 tons of food and necessities supported by the Ministry of Public Security , promptly delivering them to people in deep flooded areas.
Hung Dat Transport Joint Stock Company also presented 400 gifts to people in flood-hit areas, sharing the difficulties after the natural disaster. Authorized by Vietnam Electricity Group, Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc, Director of Hue Electricity Company, presented 1 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to support the locality in overcoming the consequences of floods.
* On the same day, at Cam Due and Cam Binh communes - these are two communes located in the downstream area of Ke Go lake (Ha Tinh province), SGGP reporters recorded that heavy rains continued for a long time, water from upstream poured in turbulently and was turbid. Meanwhile, Ke Go reservoir was overflowing at 550m3/s, so most of the inter-village and inter-commune roads in low-lying areas were deeply flooded, cut off, isolated, with some points flooded 1-2m, completely paralyzing traffic.
Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Head of the Economic Department of Cam Due Commune, said that the local government and functional forces have proactively evacuated more than 780 households with more than 1,400 people living in low-lying, deeply flooded areas, along the Ngan Mo River, areas at risk of landslides and flash floods to safe shelters. Meanwhile, Cam Binh Commune has also evacuated about 150 households with 600 people to safe places.
* On the afternoon of November 1, the 34th Corps working group coordinated with Ngoc Linh commune (Quang Ngai province) to survey the landslide site in Ngoc Nang village, which isolated more than 400 households in 5 villages in the past 4 days, in order to develop a remedial plan and soon stabilize people's lives.
The working group directly crossed the subsidence points, surveyed the geological foundation, and predicted the landslide situation. Thereby, they agreed that in the short term, they would mobilize forces to open temporary roads so that people and students could travel by motorbike. In the long term, the locality would propose to invest in building a solid bridge. At the same time, the forces of the 34th Army Corps coordinated with the locality to clean up and clear other landslide points in the area.
Colonel Nguyen Khang Yen, Deputy Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps, said that the unit has mobilized about 200 officers and soldiers along with 2 excavators of Division 10 to the scene to help clear the road for people to travel, starting from November 2, and will withdraw when the mission is completed.
On November 1, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 2427/QD-TTg to provide emergency support of VND 100 billion from the central budget reserve in 2025 for Da Nang City to meet immediate urgent needs and stabilize people's lives after floods as requested by the Ministry of Finance.
Faced with the severe damage caused by storms No. 11 and 12 and the prolonged floods, which have had particularly serious impacts on people's lives, property and livelihoods, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Head of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, also signed and issued a notice on continuing to mobilize and support people affected by storms No. 11 and 12 and floods.
