
Speaking at the opening of the training course, journalist Kieu Thanh Hung, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Journalists Association, emphasized that storytelling in modern journalism is a very necessary skill for reporters and editors of Hanoi press agencies, especially in the context of digital transformation, where press agencies are promoting multimedia journalism. The training course aims to improve professional skills and is also an opportunity for journalists to exchange experiences and find solutions to optimize work efficiency, contributing to building a modern, professional press, effectively serving information and propaganda work in the new situation.

During the training program, Dr. and journalist Tran Ba Dung, former Head of the Professional Department (Vietnam Journalists Association) guided and equipped the trainees with storytelling skills in the world and Vietnam, applying them in practice and in journalism activities.
Dr. Tran Ba Dung also guides on the art of conveying messages, ideas, and emotions through storytelling; structure and skills in creating modern journalism and communication works; applying AI, technology, and selective storytelling to capture reading trends and attract the public.
