On November 5, news from Project Management Board 85 - Ministry of Construction said that the Dai Ngai bridge project and the two approach roads are divided into two packages: package 11-XL (Dai Ngai 2 bridge) has been completed, the road is in the process of unloading crushed stone construction and preparing to construct the asphalt concrete layer; package 15-XL (Dai Ngai 1 bridge) ensures progress.

Accordingly, there are currently 44 construction teams at the construction site. Of which, Dai Ngai 1 Bridge has 26 construction teams (10 bored pile construction teams, 12 pier construction teams and 4 line construction teams) with a total of 43 technical staff, 296 workers and 120 machines and equipment.

Specifically, roadbed excavation: 10,725/10,725 m 3 , reaching 100%; weak soil treatment, wick placement: 0.6/0.6 km, reaching 100%; soil cement piles: 0.16/0.16 km, reaching 100%; K95 foundation filling 24,650/69,348 m 3 , reaching 35.54%; bridge project 1/1 bridge under construction reaching 100% (construction of 32,887/36,416 m bored piles, reaching 90%; pouring concrete for 23/48 abutments and piers, reaching 48%; casting 102/294 girder slabs, reaching 35%).

Dai Ngai 2 Bridge alone currently has 6 roadbed construction sites, 7 cross-culvert construction sites and 4 embankment reinforcement sites for Tran De channel.
Specifically, roadbed excavation: 87,628/97,935 m 3 , reaching 89%; weak soil treatment reaching 100%; K95 embankment: 629,915/701,658 m 3 , reaching 90%; K98 embankment: 10,175/52,252 m 3 , reaching 19%; asphalt concrete: 27,294/343,891 m 2 , reaching 8%; drainage culverts of all kinds: 13/43 culverts, reaching 30%; 6/6 bridges under construction reaching 100%.

According to Project Management Board 85, the Dai Ngai 2 Bridge project is being implemented to ensure quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation. The bridge construction progress exceeds the approved schedule, but the road progress is behind schedule. Asphalt concrete is expected to be laid this December.
Dai Ngai 1 Bridge is under construction, ensuring quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation, and construction progress basically meets requirements.
The Dai Ngai Bridge project has a total investment of nearly 8,000 billion VND. The total length of the route is about 15.14 km. The starting point intersects with National Highway 54, in Tieu Can Commune, Vinh Long (formerly Hung Hoa Commune, Tieu Can District, Tra Vinh). The end point intersects with Nam Song Hau National Highway, Cu Lao Dung Commune, Can Tho City (formerly Long Duc Commune, Long Phu District, Soc Trang).
The project includes two main bridges, Dai Ngai 1 Bridge and Dai Ngai 2 Bridge, invested by Project Management Board 85. This is the third cable-stayed bridge across the Hau River, after Can Tho Bridge and Vam Cong Bridge.
