The Su Ma Tung branch of Ta Ngai Cho Kindergarten is home to over 30 children. Because the branch is currently under construction, teaching and learning activities are temporarily held at the village's cultural center.

Life in Su Ma Tung village is still very difficult for the people, and as a result, the children there also suffer many disadvantages.
Upon being informed that clothes had arrived for the preschool children, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, a teacher at the Su Ma Tung branch school, was overjoyed. She arranged her schedule to pick up each bag of clothes and distribute them to her students. The little ones were excited to wear the warm jackets sent by generous donors from the lowlands.
Ms. Hue shared: "In our class, there are many students from impoverished families with difficult circumstances. My students and I are very happy to receive these gifts. I am very grateful for the kindness of the benefactors towards these children."

Seeing the radiant faces and sparkling eyes of the children, everyone felt heartwarming. The warm coats not only protected them from the cold but also warmed their hearts, allowing them to feel cared for and loved.
Ms. Trinh Thi Thu Hien from Ta Lu village, Pha Long commune, connected with kind-hearted people who sent warm clothes and shoes to donate to the children.
Every year, during the winter, I connect with philanthropists in various provinces and cities to receive warm clothing to send to disadvantaged areas within the province. I hope these warm clothes will bring joy and help children stay healthier during the winter.
Recently, Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Compassionate Hearts Club and philanthropists, organized a charitable program to donate warm clothes, woolen hats, and rice to students of Ban Lau Kindergarten and Primary School in Trinh Tuong commune.
The activity became extremely meaningful as the highland region was entering its first cold spell of the season, causing many difficulties for the lives and studies of the students.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Quang Thao, Deputy Political Officer of Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station, said: "The program was organized with the desire to share difficulties and contribute to encouraging the children so they can feel secure attending school. We hope they will have a warmer winter and continue to strive for excellence in their studies."
During the donation ceremony, hundreds of gifts, including warm jackets, woolen hats, and rice, were delivered directly to the students. Although the gifts were not of great monetary value, they demonstrated the care and concern of border guards and benevolent organizations and individuals for students in border areas.
The joy and radiant smiles of the children are the motivation for border guards and philanthropists to continue supporting the local people in the future. This meaningful activity not only contributes to improving living conditions for students in mountainous areas but also strengthens the solidarity between the military and civilians in the border region, spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.

Concerned about the health of people in mountainous areas, especially during the harsh winter months, the Bao Thang Regional Health Center recently organized a volunteer medical examination program in disadvantaged villages.
In Gia Phu commune, doctors from Bao Thang Health Center provided consultation and screening for 128 residents, disseminated information on seasonal disease prevention measures, and coordinated with the Gia Phu Commune People's Committee to donate many gifts including essential necessities to disadvantaged households.
In Tang Loong commune, the Bao Thang Regional Health Center organized a program to provide free medical examinations and medicine to 480 people and distributed 34 gifts to poor households. Children in disadvantaged villages such as Trat 1, Trat 2, and Ban Cam also received attention and warm clothing.
Multiplying the love sent to the highlands, each act of sharing, each truckload of clothes, medicine, and necessities... not only helps dispel the cold in the mountains but also ignites the flame of brotherhood. These extended acts of love are kindling hope for a less harsh winter and building a brighter future for children in the highlands.
