Mr. Tran Van Hoang, Business Director of Chao Show, said that the idea for the program originated in May 2025, when the team wanted to create another night tourism product for Ho Chi Minh City, while also bringing Vietnamese culture closer to international friends.
The biggest challenge for the program is how to preserve the traditional elements while still being accessible to modern audiences. "Audiences often think that programs with a traditional flavor are quite difficult to listen to or appreciate. Therefore, Chào Show tries to bring Vietnamese music closer to the public by presenting it in a more youthful and modern way," Mr. Hoang shared.
The unique aspect of Chào Show lies in its combination of musical performance and culinary experience throughout the show. Audiences can enjoy a meal while watching the show, with a menu inspired by various regions of Vietnam, such as Hanoi's bun cha, Hoi An's cao lau, and signature dishes from the South.
According to the program's representative, this is a multi-sensory experience model. "When it first launched, many people couldn't imagine whether they were going out to eat or to see a concert. Therefore, the most difficult thing was to harmonize music and cuisine," Mr. Hoang said.
