Lao Cai is a mountainous, border area with a large ethnic minority population. Language, customs, and awareness barriers make accessing information and supporting victims difficult.

The situation of violence and abuse against women and children is still potentially complicated; the cases of denunciation and complaints related to women's rights are increasingly diverse, requiring the staff of the Association to be professional, knowledgeable about the law, and more proactive in supporting women and children. The Association's staff doing inspection work need to have adequate knowledge and solid skills to protect the legal and legitimate rights and interests of members and women.

Leaders of the Provincial Women's Union exchanged with trainees of the training class.

The training course has practical significance, contributing to improving the capacity of the Association's staff to perform their duties, enhancing the ability to handle cases at the grassroots level, creating unity in the coordination process. This is also an important activity to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of women and children, strengthening the trust of members and people in the role of the Association.
