General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, chaired the 15th Central Military Commission conference for the 2020-2025 term, reviewing military and defense work in 2025, orienting military and defense tasks and Party building of the Army in 2026.

Attending the conference this morning in Hanoi were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, member of the Politburo , member of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee; Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, member of the Politburo.

General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were Politburo members: Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security.

Attending the conference were Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet; Party Central Committee members, and leaders of Party Central Committee commissions.

Military delegates attending the conference included: General Nguyen Trong Nghia, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

At the conference, delegates followed the report summarizing military and defense work in 2025 and the direction and tasks for 2026 in pictures; listened to the presentation of the draft Resolution on leading military and defense tasks and building the Party Committee of the Army in 2026, then discussed and gave opinions on the contents.
