Missile frigate Tran Hung Dao leaves Chinese port, en route to Japan

Today, missile frigate 015 - Tran Hung Dao and the working delegation of the Vietnam Navy left the port of Qingdao city, China, to begin a diplomatic visit to Japan.

On December 4, missile frigate 015 - Tran Hung Dao of Brigade 162, Naval Region 4 and the working delegation of the Vietnam People's Navy left the port of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, successfully concluding a diplomatic visit and exchange with the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy.

The farewell ceremony for missile frigate 015 - Tran Hung Dao and the delegation of the Vietnam People's Navy was solemnly held at the wharf in Qingdao City, under the chairmanship of representatives of the General Staff of the North Sea Fleet, Navy of the People's Liberation Army of China.

Colonel Nguyen Vinh Nam, Deputy Commander of Naval Region 4, Head of the Vietnam People's Navy delegation, said that during their visit to Qingdao City, the entire delegation and ship 015 - Tran Hung Dao received a warm and thoughtful welcome from the North Sea Fleet and the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy.

The visit was successful in all aspects, with many meaningful activities such as: the working delegation paid a courtesy call to the leaders of Qingdao City government and the North Sea Fleet; visited the Weifang ship of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy and welcomed officers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy to visit ship 015. In addition, officers and soldiers of the two navies participated in sports exchanges, contributing to enhancing understanding and trust.

In particular, the reception on the missile frigate 015 on the evening of December 3 took place in a friendly and close atmosphere, leaving a deep impression on the working delegation as well as officers and sailors of the two navies.

Colonel Nguyen Vinh Nam emphasized that this visit practically contributes to efforts to strengthen friendly cooperation, trust and mutual understanding between the navies of Vietnam and China.

Ship 015 - Tran Hung Dao leaves Qingdao port

After leaving the port, ship 015 - Tran Hung Dao and ship 550 of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy conducted joint exercises at sea, including: checking communication and formation movements, and greeting each other at sea.

After completing the joint training, ship 015 - Tran Hung Dao began a diplomatic visit to Japan, with the destination being Kure city in Hiroshima province.
