Mang Ri Commune launched the "Quang Trung Campaign"

QNgTV- On the morning of December 4, Mang Ri commune held a launching ceremony to respond to the "Quang Trung Campaign" - Rapidly building and repairing houses for households damaged by natural disasters in Chung Tam village. This is the first commune in Quang Ngai province to launch the campaign, with the determination to complete the relocation of people from landslide areas and build new houses for people before Tet.

Responding to the Prime Minister 's "Quang Trung Campaign" - Rapidly building and repairing houses for households damaged by natural disasters in the Central provinces, Mang Ri commune organized a survey, assessed the current situation and held a meeting to agree on the location of the resettlement area. Allocate funds from central, local and socialized support sources. Mobilize nearly 140 officers, soldiers of the commune police, militia, and people of Chung Tam village to participate in supporting relocation and house construction, helping people in landslide areas and those damaged by natural disasters to soon stabilize their lives.

During the recent storms, Mang Ri commune suffered heavy damage, many houses were damaged, and property was lost. After reviewing, the locality needed to build 2 new houses, repair 74 unsafe houses and especially relocate all 78 households in Chung Tam village to a new resettlement area. This is a village where landslides have occurred frequently, directly threatening the safety of the people. Each relocated household was supported with 60 million VND. People contributed labor and additional funds to build houses.

At the new resettlement area, the ground has been leveled and roads have been secured for people to easily transport materials. The first house foundation was started this morning. The "Quang Trung Campaign" in Mang Ri commune will be deployed in 2 phases, starting today and completed before the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026.
