Over the years, Vietnam and Denmark have built a close cooperative relationship, working towards common goals of sustainable development, innovation and inclusive growth. The focus of bilateral cooperation is the Green Strategic Partnership, a mechanism connecting government- to-private sector cooperation, to promote the green transition in Vietnam.

This relationship covers many areas such as clean energy, health, food safety and education , thereby supporting Vietnam to realize its national development goals and sustainable growth vision. In particular, green trade and investment are identified as two main pillars.

There are currently more than 150 Danish companies operating in Vietnam, bringing green technology, sustainable business models and energy transition experience. LTP’s investment in solar power systems is a concrete example of the practical contribution of Danish companies in efforts to reduce environmental impact, promote innovation and enhance long-term competitiveness.

The new solar power system helps the LTP factory meet approximately 35.8% of its electricity needs, while reducing emissions by nearly 482 tons of CO₂ per year. By combining business growth with green solutions, LTP shows that businesses can grow sustainably while protecting the environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz emphasized: “The transition to green energy and sustainable production is not only inevitable but also a competitive advantage for Vietnam in the global economy . We are proud to see Danish companies such as LEGO, Pandora and today LTP, demonstrating that social responsibility and business success can go hand in hand, demonstrating the close cooperation between the two countries.”

We are grateful for the support of local authorities and long-term partners in Vietnam and Denmark who have contributed to realizing this journey”.

In the context of the global climate change challenge, the Green Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Denmark continues to be a model for international cooperation towards sustainable development. LTP’s renewable energy project in Vietnam affirms the active role of the private sector in promoting both economic and environmental benefits, demonstrating that green transformation is entirely possible when governments, businesses and communities work together.
