Speaking at the event, Vice President of the Hanoi Association of the Blind, Hoang Manh Cuong, emphasized: This is the third time the Hanoi Association of the Blind has organized the Informatics Competition for the Blind.

Taking place from October 29th to 30th, the competition contributed to raising awareness among all levels of the Association and its members about the important and practical role of information technology in work, study, and life. It also enhanced the working capacity and quality of life of each member, helping blind people confidently integrate into the country's digital transformation process. Beyond identifying promising individuals to be trained as core staff and teachers for IT training and development within the Association, the Organizing Committee also selected innovative and easy-to-use software and applications for dissemination and replication within the visually impaired community.

Witnessing the competition, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, Nguyen To Quyen, emotionally shared: “The competition is proof of the message ‘No one is left behind.’ More than just an intellectual playground, the competition is a symbol of the willpower, determination, and aspiration of visually impaired people, showing us the faith and love of life of the contestants, who have continuously transformed difficulties into action, challenges into opportunities to make life more meaningful. They are truly information technology warriors, who will become leaders, spreading the light of information technology to members of the Hanoi Association of the Blind.”

Meanwhile, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Blind, Dinh Viet Anh, highly appreciated the results of the competition and affirmed that: Thanks to the application of information technology, more and more visually impaired people can participate in high school and university education, and receive scholarships for bachelor's and master's degrees at international universities. Information technology is increasingly applied in the lives of visually impaired people, helping them to teach English, sell goods online, and even develop software applications for the visually impaired.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the outstanding contestants in each competition category. Specifically:
- For the competition for officials at all levels of the Association: First prize went to contestant Do Thu Ha (Cau Giay), second prize to Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang (Thanh Tri), third prize to Le Tung Lam (Hoai Duc), and two consolation prizes to Le Ngan Ha (Thanh Hoi) and Do Van Thuong (Dong Anh).
- Young members' competition: First prize went to contestant Dinh Thi Dieu Chau (RB Center), second prize to Le Huy Hoang (Dong Anh), third prize to Truong Thanh Nhan (Chuong My), and three consolation prizes to Dinh Cong Thinh (Ha Dong), Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi (Thanh Xuan), and Le Quoc Cuong (Chuong My).
- The competition was open to students residing in Hanoi, and all prizes went to contestants from the RB Center. Specifically: First Prize went to Vuong Hoang Minh, Second Prize to Do Ngoc Minh Chau, two Third Prizes to Nguyen An Binh and Dinh The Duy, and four Consolation Prizes to Ho Nha Linh, Nguyen Minh Tri, Bui Nguyen Duc Hoang, and Nguyen Duy Linh.
The organizing committee will select from among the top-ranked contestants to participate in the national competition.
