On the evening of November 22, the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025 with the theme "Forest scent - sea taste" officially closed after 7 consecutive days, creating a festival space imbued with the Southern spirit and attracting about 120,000 people, domestic and international tourists.
According to the organizers, this year's event will feature 15 main activities, creatively staged, each with its own unique character but still connected into a vibrant whole. In addition, Ca Mau province will simultaneously organize the "Hello Ca Mau" event in Ho Chi Minh City and participate in the Autumn Fair in Hanoi , contributing to creating strong media coverage and expanding the interactive space outside the Dat Mui area.

In his closing speech, Mr. Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee of the Ca Mau Crab Festival, emphasized that the series of activities not only contributed to raising the brand of Ca Mau crab in the domestic and international markets, but also opened up a space for connection and long-term cooperation for this potential industry. The festival became a meeting place to honor farmers, fishermen, artisans and businesses who preserve the forest-sea ecosystem and promote the crab industry in a sustainable direction.
Provincial leaders affirmed that the event had fully achieved its set goals, creating a strong influence on the media and among the public. This is considered a driving force for Ca Mau to continue to aim for the position of a marine economic center, a unique cultural and tourist destination of the country and reach international level.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee awarded prizes within the framework of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025, such as: prizes for organizations and individuals participating in composing logos, funny symbols about crabs and slogans; "beautiful booth" contest, and contest to set records about Ca Mau crabs. The crab weighing 1,820.3 grams, with a shell width of 199.7 mm of Du Thai Binh Company Limited won first prize, becoming a highlight attracting the attention of many local people.
