Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh inspected a number of public investment projects.

On the morning of November 21, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh and representatives of departments and branches inspected 3 public investment projects in the Southeast region of the province.

The working delegation surveyed the Binh Thanh coastal protection embankment project (Lien Huong commune), Vinh Tien village coastal protection embankment project (Vinh Hao commune) and the road project from Ham Thuan Bac district center to National Highway 1 (Ham Thuan commune).

At the Binh Thanh embankment project, the Tuy Phong Area Construction Investment Project Management Board said the project was contracted at the end of September 2025, with a winning bid value of more than VND 22.5 billion and a construction period of 360 days. After handing over the site on October 1, 2025, the contractor is casting components for construction. However, recent storms and high tides have affected the progress.

For the Vinh Tien embankment project invested by the Agricultural Project Management Board, the project is worth more than 170.6 billion VND, construction in 540 days from January 5, 2024. The embankment is 2,532 m long, of which section 2, 1,932 m long, was completed on December 31, 2024; section 1, 600 m long, has just completed the embankment lock, and 170 m has not been constructed yet. The project dossier has been handed over to the Commune People's Committee, the police force is waiting for the appraisal of the construction protection plan.

At the road project from the center of Ham Thuan Bac district to National Highway 1, the Ham Thuan Bac Project Management Board said that from October 14 to November 18, 2025, the unit constructed the roadbed, graded crushed stone and cast 6,700/9,283 median strip components; bridge girders have been cast, waiting for the water to recede for transportation and installation. The implementation value is about 5.6 billion VND, of which 2.4 billion VND has been accepted for payment, the remaining value will be accepted for payment in November 2025.

Provincial People's Committee leaders listened to a progress report on the road connecting National Highway 1A.

The progress of site clearance is still facing obstacles because 43 households have not agreed to receive compensation and there are 2 BTS pillars that need to be relocated. The parties have agreed on a compensation plan based on asset depreciation and are expected to complete the approval of specific land prices on November 25, 2025.

The remaining problem is the location of the 2 BTS transmission towers.

Construction of National Highway 1A connecting road project.

The Road Project from Ham Thuan Bac district center to National Highway 1 in Ham Thuan commune is under construction.

Through the on-site inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh acknowledged the efforts of the investor and contractor in the two embankment projects, requesting to continue to strive to disburse 100% of the plan. Particularly for the Binh Thanh embankment, he requested to speed up the progress and strengthen coordination between the locality, border guards and construction units to ensure safety.

Regarding Vinh Tien embankment, the provincial leaders requested to urgently complete the construction protection plan, paying attention to the tide time. The contractor needs to mobilize maximum human resources and equipment to construct as soon as conditions allow.

At the Ham Thuan Bac - National Highway 1 project, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the contractor for completing the construction ahead of schedule, and requested the investor to complete the disbursement procedures before November 25; coordinate with the locality to mobilize people's consensus, and create a clean site. The contractor must be ready to start construction as soon as the problems are resolved.
