Lam Dong police dispatched 3 canoes to support rescue of people in Dak Lak

As soon as they arrived at Hoa Xuan commune, Dak Lak province, despite having just traveled a long distance at night, the Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police, promptly began the task of evacuating people from deeply flooded areas, ensuring the safety of local people.

Previously, with the approval of the Provincial Police Department, on the evening of November 20, the Traffic Police Department sent a working group consisting of 3 comrades who know how to drive canoes from the Waterway Police force and 3 specialized canoes to support rescue in Hoa Xuan commune.

Of these, 2 canoes have 85 horsepower and 1 canoe has 100 horsepower, responding well to maneuvering in fast-flowing water and complex terrain conditions.

Due to the rapid and complex developments of the floods, the working group traveled through the night, continuously monitoring the situation and adjusting the route.

In many flooded, landslide-prone or traffic-jammed sections, the local Traffic Police provided guidance, helping the group quickly reach the heavily flooded area in Hoa Xuan commune.

By 6am on November 21, the team had arrived at the scene. Despite being tired after the long journey, the rescue team of Lam Dong Provincial Police immediately deployed canoes, coordinated with local authorities and volunteers to approach and bring people in the danger zone to safety.

In the morning of the same day, 3 canoes of Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated to urgently evacuate 25 households with 72 people from the deeply flooded area to safety.

Besides rescue work, the team also transported and provided essential necessities to people in isolated villages and hamlets.

Currently, the weather in Hoa Xuan commune continues to be complicated, heavy rain continues, and the water level shows no signs of receding. The rescue force of Lam Dong Provincial Police affirmed that they will be on duty at the scene, making efforts to support the people until the flood situation is under control, ensuring absolute safety for the people.
