On November 21, comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference to listen to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association and the Provincial Labor Federation report on the preparation of documents and personnel for the 1st Provincial Veterans Association Congress and the 2025-2030 term.

At the meeting, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Veterans Association and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and comments on the preparation of documents, Congress program, personnel plan, Congress theme, draft political reports of the Executive Committee, report on the number of delegates attending the Congress, propaganda and agitation activities before and during the Congress, etc.
After listening to the delegates' comments, Comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that the two units should review the instructions to properly implement specific regulations on the Congress's internal regulations, the composition of delegates, candidates for the Executive Committee, speeches, discussions; reception work, logistics, ensuring facilities, and organizational stability.
Regarding the Congress targets, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested to update closely according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress. Continue to carefully review and supplement necessary contents for the preparation work, promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and close coordination so that the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Veterans Association and the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union, term 2025-2030, takes place on schedule and achieves high efficiency.
As planned, the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Veterans Association, term 2025-2030, will be held on December 11 and 12, 2025; the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union, term 2025-2030, will take place on December 15, 2025.
