The highest peak water level at stations during this high tide occurred on November 22-23 (October 3-4, lunar calendar). My Thuan station was 35cm higher than BĐIII, Tra Vinh station was 25cm higher than BĐIII, Cho Lach station was 16cm higher than BĐIII, and the remaining stations were approximately 8cm higher than BĐIII.

According to the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, the highest daily peak water level on river banks and canals in the province has changed little (except at Tra Vinh station, it gradually increased, at Binh Dai station, it gradually decreased) and is 2cm lower than alarm level II (BĐ II) to 27cm higher than BĐ III in the past 24 hours.

High tides are likely to flood low-lying areas across the province. Flooding is likely to have a negative impact on the environment, road and waterway traffic activities, residential areas; fruit growing areas, livestock areas, aquaculture areas; the possibility of deep flooding in areas along the Tien River, Ham Luong River, Co Chien River, Mang Thit River, Hau River, areas outside the dike; provincial roads 901, 903, 904, 905, 907, 908, 909, 910...; especially areas inside the dike but with open sluices, inner garden and inner field areas without sluices due to the small difference between the two peak tides in the afternoon and morning and the low tide at night (foot tide) causing the phenomenon of high water (rising) for a long time between the two peak tides; other low-lying areas, weak dike areas - no dike and outside dike, sandbanks, islands, riverside and coastal areas.

The possibility of flooding on November 22-25 is from 5-60cm, the deepest flooding depth will appear on November 22-23 from 10-60cm, some places will be flooded from 55-75cm deep (Binh Minh bus station), the flooding depth will gradually increase according to the rising water level of the tide. Warning of natural disaster risk level is at level 2.

The Hydrometeorological Station recommends that localities need to have plans to protect and reinforce the dike system, raise furniture and belongings, and proactively deal with flooding and landslides caused by high tides combined with upstream water, northeast winds and other factors.
