Agricultural products must have clear evidence of production conditions, raw material origin, and meet standards for product quality, food safety and hygiene, and environmental protection during the production process. At the same time, when brought to market, these products must have complete product codes, barcodes, and traceability labels on the packaging. Therefore, it can be said that the OCOP program has encouraged producers to change their mindset towards sustainable economic practices and helped bring safe agricultural products to consumers.

The Hoa Phong High-Quality Agricultural Service Cooperative (Dong Trieu Ward), established in 2010, is currently one of the leading units in the province's OCOP program with a safe food supply chain. Specifically, the cooperative leases agricultural land in the locality to build a large-scale model farm; guiding farmers to strictly apply production processes in an organic and biological direction, ensuring good food safety standards in the agricultural production sector. The vegetable fields only use organic fertilizers, manure, and microorganisms, without using any chemical pesticides. Pests that damage crops are only caught by hand or using sticky traps, and herbal pesticides are sprayed.

The Hoa Phong High-Quality Agricultural Service Cooperative has also invested in building a comprehensive, modern, and closed-loop product preservation system. All of the cooperative's safe vegetables and agricultural products now have complete and compliant packaging and labeling. As a result, the cooperative now supplies approximately 2 tons of vegetables and fruits daily to industrial kitchens and the market; the Dong Trieu sticky rice brand is also regularly supplied to the provincial market and for export. With the high level of trust and acceptance of agricultural products by consumers, the income of farmers is steadily increasing.
In Dam Ha commune, organic passion fruit farming models are being encouraged and replicated, bringing high economic efficiency to many farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural associations. Since 2023, the locality has actively reviewed, advised, and supported people in converting inefficient crop structures to participate in the implementation of the concentrated fruit production development project. In particular, households, cooperatives, and agricultural enterprises are encouraged and supported to apply science and technology, new varieties to production, and adopt advanced farming processes to bring clean, high-quality agricultural products to the market. With the support of Saigon - Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (the unit providing seeds and guaranteeing the purchase of all products), passion fruit orchards in Dam Ha ensure strict quality control from seed selection, planting, care, to harvesting and preservation. This ensures that they meet extremely stringent standards, making them eligible for export to the European market.

Thanks to the province's attention and the efforts of farmers, businesses, and cooperatives, Quang Ninh's agricultural sector is gradually developing towards a modern and sustainable direction, contributing to increased productivity, product quality, and improved farmers' lives. Notably, many technological advancements have been applied, such as remote-controlled drones for spraying pesticides, water-saving irrigation systems, tray seedling sowing machines, transplanting machines, and combine harvesters... which save time and costs, reduce labor, and improve production efficiency. Farmers' associations at all levels also pay close attention to disseminating information and encouraging members to change their mindset towards safe production, using biological products instead of chemical fertilizers and pesticides; at the same time, they organize programs to learn from practical experiences. The province has linked with cooperatives and production groups to supply microbial and organic materials. It has also planned concentrated production areas, issued planting area codes, registered aquaculture, and applied safety standards such as VietGAP and organic farming to increase product credibility.
The OCOP program has contributed to strengthening the solid foundation for Quang Ninh's safe agricultural product brand, aiming for sustainable socio-economic development.
