On the morning of November 20, working groups of Brigade 572 - Military Region 5 used canoes and motorboats to cross the rapids to bring 22 people, including the elderly, women and children in Tuy An Bac commune out of the deep flooded area. At 11 p.m. on November 20, the rescue forces of Dak Lak Provincial Police were still wading through floodwaters overnight to reach and rescue people trapped in the villages of Phu Tho, My Trung, My Thuan Trong, Phu Thuan, Hoa Thinh commune; Hoa Dong commune (old) and brought people to the commune Party Committee headquarters and solid houses in the area.
Currently, many flooded areas in the Eastern region have been approached and controlled.

To support Dak Lak, Air Force Regiment 930 ordered two helicopters in Da Nang to be ready to take off, coordinating with Military Region 5 to drop relief goods to the flood-hit oases in Hoa Xuan and Hoa Thinh, where canoes could not reach.
