Colonel Nguyen Van Linh called on the entire unit to uphold the spirit of responsibility and solidarity, promote the tradition of "mutual love and compassion", proactively mobilize social resources, mobilize materials and essential necessities to promptly support people who are heavily affected by natural disasters and floods.

Responding to the call for mutual love, right at the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command donated 50.6 million VND.

Previously, the Provincial Border Guard Command also allocated 175 million VND from the fund to provide emergency support to 7 grassroots units to purchase materials and equipment to respond to and overcome the consequences of floods.

To support the people in the flood-affected areas, the Dak Lak Border Guard mobilized, received, and organized the classification, packaging, and transportation to the affected areas, including: 1,051 boxes of instant noodles; 47 boxes of clean water; 1.5 tons of rice; 68 boxes of clothes and blankets; 3,000 banh chung; 3,000 boiled eggs; 700 emergency aid gifts; 158 boxes of milk, sausages, cakes, candies, dry food, and hundreds of boxes of other necessities.

In particular, Dak Lak Border Guard contacted 3 charity groups from Phu My (formerly Binh Dinh province) and Ho Chi Minh City to donate 21 tons of various goods to people in flood-affected areas.

It is known that during the recent days of floods and rains, Dak Lak Border Guard also sent nearly 400 officers and soldiers, 11 vehicles, and 7 canoes to coordinate with functional forces, units, and local authorities to support the evacuation of people and property to safe places, repair houses, clean the environment, and reinforce areas at risk of landslides...

Thereby, the organization evacuated 404 households with 1,719 people to safe areas; participated in cleaning and sanitation for 80 households, 12 primary schools and 35 km of inter-village and inter-commune roads blocked by mud; arranged for 22 households with 145 people to evacuate to Border Guard Stations.
