The Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control said that according to local reports, in Gia Lai, there are no more flooded households. In Dak Lak, there are still 4 flooded communes and wards: Hoa Xuan ward, Dong Hoa ward; Hoa Thinh commune, Hoa My commune (of which, many areas in Hoa Thinh and Hoa Xuan communes are still deeply flooded).
In Khanh Hoa , according to local reports, the water has receded in deeply flooded households; 87 households with 364 people in Dien Dien and Hoa Tri communes are still flooded.
In Lam Dong , the water has basically receded and people are cleaning up. Currently, 127 households are still flooded (Nam Da commune: 105 households; Cat Tien commune: 22 households).
The Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control also updated the immediate support needs of localities, including:
Gia Lai: 2,000 tons of rice, 3,000 kg of Chloramine B chemicals, 100,000 Aquatabs tablets;
Dak Lak: 2,000 tons of food, 3,000 kg of Chloramine B chemicals, 1,000 liters of chemicals for water and environmental treatment; 1,000 first aid kits, 2,000 medical kits and 5,000 welfare kits, 30,000 liters of chemicals for disinfection; support for crop seeds (80 tons of rice seeds, 15 tons of corn seeds, 175 tons of various bean seeds, etc.), livestock seeds (buffalo, cow, pig, chicken, etc.) and other essential supplies to restore production.
Regarding electricity, floods have caused power outages for 1,178,186 customers, of which 920,141 have been restored, leaving 258,045 customers without power.
Regarding communication, the specialized data transmission network level 2 (from province to commune), updated, there are currently 75/301 communes and wards that have lost connection due to power outage (Gia Lai 26/135, Dak Lak 31/102, Khanh Hoa 18/64).
Public network 552 BTS stations lost connection (Dak Lak 327, Khanh Hoa 225).
Regarding traffic, National Highway 1 has opened to traffic.
Other traffic routes, 13 locations on National Highways were flooded and locally blocked by landslides, including: 01 location on Truong Son Dong Road (Quang Ngai: at Km158+450); 12 locations on National Highways managed by localities (Da Nang: 01 location on National Highway 4E; Khanh Hoa: 07 locations on National Highway 27C; Lam Dong: 04 locations on National Highway 27C, National Highway 20, National Highway 28).
Regarding the railway, there are still 6 sections that are still closed: Xuan Son Nam - Chi Thanh; Dong Tac - Phu Hiep; Phu Hiep - Hao Son; Hao Son - Dai Lanh; Nha Trang - Cay Cay; Cay Cay - Hoa Tan.
