The young artist just released the double single Just talk/ Words today (November 20), on the occasion of his 23rd birthday.
This is Nguyen Tran's second product after his debut single What's the Point released in August. The project continued to be completed in the US during his time studying and working, from composing to recording and performing.
The English and Vietnamese versions were built in parallel, demonstrating the multi-market release orientation that Nguyen Tran pursues.
He said writing in English brings naturalness to his compositions, but the Vietnamese version helps him maintain a connection with his home audience.

Just talk / Words inspired by a story he witnessed: A friendship broke down because two people couldn't talk and listen to each other.
From this experience, Nguyen Tran chose the pop-rock direction to tell the story through music.
Nguyen Tran confided: “I always think words have great power. We can build or lose something just by choosing the right words.
I hope that every song I write has a reason to exist, even if it is just a small slice of life. If the lyrics I write can help someone feel better, or make them want to talk to someone they love, that is the greatest gift for an artist."
According to him, if a song can make someone feel better or proactively reconnect with an important person, that's what he always aims for when writing music.
The writing process took about three days. The first verse was the part he struggled with the most, while the chorus was the part he spent the most time editing to get the feel right for the story.
In terms of production, Nguyen Tran continues to collaborate with Hung BlackHearted - a member of the groups Da Ma and Black Infinity - who has accompanied him since his first product. Hung takes on the role of co-producer and MV maker.
According to Nguyen Tran, this working process helps him better understand the work of an independent artist, from preparation, self-study, perfecting the mix, to starting over if he finds it unsuitable.
In terms of musical color, the double single clearly shows the young artist's pop-rock orientation, with guitar as the main fulcrum.
He was influenced by Oasis, John Mayer and Weezer, so the song has an indie-pop and light rock feel.
Nguyen Tran admits: “Maybe because I like this song more than the first single, I feel it reflects the way I play music at the moment. I wanted to keep it simple and focus on the rhythm and tone of the guitar to clarify the atmosphere of the story.”
The product was released on his birthday, November 20th. For Nguyen Tran, this is an important personal milestone in his journey of self-development in music in the US.
“It’s like a 23rd birthday present. I feel like I’ve completed a small milestone and there’s still a lot of work to do. But at least I know I’m on the right track,” the son of the Wall group leader confided.

Along with the music, the music video for the project was also released on the same day. According to the artist, the visuals are an important support for the song’s story, especially when the content comes from a real experience.
In the near future, Nguyen Tran said he is developing an EP scheduled for release in early 2026, continuing to pursue the direction of self-writing and self-producing. He has many demos recorded during his studies in the US and wants to experiment with new materials to expand his composing ability.
Nguyen Tran's real name is Tran An Nguyen, born in 2002 - son of musician Tran Tuan Hung - leader of the band Buc Tuong.
He graduated with a degree in music production in the US. Nguyen Tran's first product was made in cooperation with a record label here. The young artist believes that the competitive environment in the US has created conditions for him to properly evaluate his own abilities.
Sharing with the media, Nguyen Tran said that he believes that if he can succeed in a harsh market like the US, he will be able to do the same in Vietnam. With the release of his first song after collaborating with a record label in the US, Nguyen Tran has initially found freedom and his own path.
