The Organizing Committee of the Award received nearly 1,900 works from hundreds of press agencies nationwide and more than 480 writing contest entries exploring the 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. Each work is a topic analyzing the results, limitations, and hottest issues facing agriculture, farmers, and rural areas today; at the same time, proposing solutions to overcome them through actions, through specific mechanisms and policies.

Many press agencies have a relatively large number of entries such as newspapers: Vietnam Television - VTV, Voice of Vietnam - VOV, Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan, Lao Dong, Phap Luat Vietnam, Tien Phong, Dan Tri, Thanh Nien, Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television, Vinh Long Provincial Newspaper and Radio, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio, Lao Cai Newspaper and Radio, Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio, etc.

In which, the work "Nghe An Highlands Catches Up With Digital Transformation", 5 episodes by the group of authors Thanh Phuc - Hoai Thu, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television unit won the C prize, Electronic Newspaper category.

The Organizing Committee's assessment shows that most of the entries have deeply reflected the transition from traditional agricultural production to a multi-value economic model, green agriculture, and a typical circular economy. There have been many excellent entries focusing on writing and reflecting on the model of a new, civilized, modern farmer, portraits of outstanding, inspirational Vietnamese farmers. There are also a series of articles expressing the concerns of journalists about the conflicting issues arising in the new context of the current agricultural sector.

Besides those bright spots, journalists also show their dedication, not afraid of hardships and dangers to carry out exclusive "heavyweight" investigative series, determined to shed light on the hidden corners and "dark sides" that exist in the fields of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 3rd National Press Awards on Agriculture, Farmers and Rural Areas in 2025, Comrade Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association emphasized: Reporters, journalists, and press agencies have always accompanied and stood side by side with farmers and the Vietnamese peasant class throughout the past period, especially in 2025 with many difficulties and challenges. At every moment and event, we always receive the attention, companionship, and timely presence of the press.

Most of the works closely followed the breath of life, the transformation of the country to enter a new era, in particular, the works showed a strong picture of digital transformation, in line with the theme of this year's season " Breakthrough in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas" in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo.

The works have played a good role in communicating policies, specifically policies on green agricultural transformation and circular economy towards rapid and sustainable development. The works have diverse and rich content, painting a panoramic picture of the strong development of agriculture in the recent period, contributing to the country's socio-economic growth target at a high level and reaching the double-digit mark in the coming years.

Not only reflecting the positive aspects, the journalistic works in this contest also demonstrate the spirit of fighting against the negative aspects in agriculture and rural areas, contributing to protecting sustainable agricultural production and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of farmers.

This year's press works have performed well in their role of social supervision and criticism with many articles, radio and television programs that deeply reflect and analyze the difficulties in mechanisms and policies for agriculture, farmers and rural areas such as issues of applying science and technology; capital, credit, agricultural insurance, etc.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee also launched the 4th National Press Award on Agriculture, Farmers and Rural Areas of Vietnam - 2026.
