Connecting businesses and young workers through job consulting fair

On the evening of December 5, at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Hai Phong Labor Federation opened the first Job Consulting Festival in 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Hai Phong Labor Federation, said that the festival aims to create an effective bridge between workers, especially demobilized soldiers, students, and businesses, contributing to job creation, sustainable labor restructuring, and meeting the economic and social development requirements of the city and the country.

This is also a channel to support union members, workers, students, demobilized soldiers and freelance workers to access labor market information, while creating a multi-dimensional connection space between management agencies, trade union organizations and enterprises, promoting the role of trade union organizations in accompanying workers in employment, improving knowledge and professional skills, building high-quality human resources in the period of industrialization and modernization. This activity will contribute to propaganda and mobilization of workers to believe in and desire to become union members.

Workers listen to employers' needs for job positions related to import and export.

Mr. Yun Yeong Joon, Deputy General Director of LG Innotek Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd., said that the festival helps businesses have more opportunities to recruit workers with professional qualifications and good work discipline, especially soldiers preparing to be discharged. They will be typical candidates for job positions at high-tech companies like LG Innotek Vietnam Hai Phong.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dan, in Ngo Quyen Ward, Hai Phong, said that she is looking for a job as an import-export employee. According to her, the program is very meaningful, helping workers have the opportunity to approach many businesses at the same time, thoroughly understand the needs of each business to be able to choose the best job position.

Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Hai Phong Labor Federation gave gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

According to the Organizing Committee, during the 3 days of the festival (December 5-7), along with job introduction sessions, the 1st Job Consulting Festival in 2025 also has many other activities such as propaganda on social insurance, Trade Union Law, practicing skills in organizing collective activities for union members and workers, and other cultural, artistic programs and free medical examinations.
