The province currently has more than 600 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, of which 6 products meet the national 5-star standard. From traditional craft villages to high-tech agricultural production models, OCOP has helped transform production thinking, upgrading typical products into items with outstanding economic value, creating sustainable livelihoods for more than 5,000 rural workers.
One of the important factors contributing to the success of the OCOP program in Phu Tho is the systematic and synchronous information, propaganda and application of digital transformation. The Department of Science and Technology has coordinated with localities to organize conferences to popularize digital knowledge and skills for more than 3,000 community digital technology groups with thousands of participating members; published 58,000 leaflets, printed propaganda publications on OCOP such as the Consulting Handbook to provide basic knowledge for production entities. In particular, the application of digital technology has created a breakthrough in promoting and consuming products, the use of QR code stamps, and putting products on e-commerce platforms has helped expand the market, increase customer recognition and trust.

Typical products include: Clean rice noodles of Hung Lo Rice Noodle Cooperative, High-class Dinh Tea of Hoai Trung Tea Company Limited, Thanh Ba Purple Bud Tea of UT Tea Investment and Development Company Limited and "SET QUÀ CON CUI" of Lita Foods Joint Stock Company, Instantly cooked dried bamboo shoots and Ready-to-cut sour bamboo shoots of Kim Boi Joint Stock Company. These achievements not only demonstrate the quality of the products but also show the efforts of the entire political system and the business community and cooperatives in the area.
Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong - Director of UT Tea Development Investment Company Limited, Thanh Ba Commune said: "Since 2023, the company has promoted the application of information technology, digital transformation to introduce, promote and put products on e-commerce platforms. Thanks to that, the products are known to more and more customers, the average export output reaches 1,500 - 1,700 tons of finished products/year; average revenue is 40 - 50 billion VND, contributing to the local economic growth target. Currently, among the company's products, Thanh Ba Purple Bud Tea is recognized as having achieved the national 5-star OCOP certification. In the coming time, the company will promote the application of scientific and technological advances, expand production scale, continue to create jobs for many rural workers, and at the same time expand promotion on trade channels, connecting product consumption".
Not only bringing economic efficiency, the OCOP Program has created positive social impacts, creating stable jobs for more than 5,000 rural workers with an average income of 5-7 million VND/person/month; promoting business with 55% of subjects expanding production scale, with a significant increase in revenue; social equality with 30% of subjects being women and 14% being ethnic minorities participating in the program, contributing to creating more equal development opportunities for disadvantaged groups....
Up to now, with the synchronous and drastic participation, Phu Tho province is promoting linkage activities, applying technology and promoting trade, creating a solid launching pad for OCOP products of the Ancestral Land to reach far, bringing cultural and economic values to consumers across the country and internationally. According to statistics, the whole province has 400 economic organizations participating in the OCOP Program, including 69 enterprises, 182 cooperatives, 15 cooperative groups and 134 production establishments/business households; there are 256 OCOP products reaching the value chain, accounting for 42% of the total number of OCOP products of the province, accounting for 33.7% of the total number of economic organizations participating in the program. 100% of products participating in the chain are certified for safety quality standards, have packaging, labels, and clear origin, meeting the requirements and tastes of consumers; The value of products after joining the chain is 15 - 20% higher than that of products that have not joined.
In the coming time, Phu Tho aims to upgrade and recognize 282 new OCOP products in the new period, develop 6-8 more key agricultural value chains and link OCOP with tourism in tea hills and traditional craft villages; make the Phu Tho OCOP Program continue to become a strong movement, awakening the potential and advantages of localities, a journey to enhance the value of agricultural products, revive craft villages and build a sustainable local brand.
