Dong Nai tourism on the journey to position the green and sustainable tourism brand

Not only stopping at established destinations, recently, Dong Nai tourism is renewing itself with new products, new experiences, associated with stories about nature, culture, history and people of the Southern land.

A series of tourism awards for destinations from international organizations; the connection and development of new products by businesses and destinations; tourism and culinary promotion activities; regional tourism development connections... have gradually consolidated the position of Dong Nai tourism on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world .

Dong Nai - green destination

Extending the series of international tourism awards, recently, 2 destinations in La Nga commune, Dong Nai province continued to be honored at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2025 including the award: Best Glamping Destination in Southeast Asia for Panorama Glamping Dong Nai and Best Glamping Destination in Asia for Tropical Glamping.

These are two destinations built and operated by Glamping Hub Investment and Operation Management Company Limited (Glamping Hub) from 2022. It is known that World Luxury Travel Awards 2025 is one of the most prestigious global awards for the luxury tourism industry.

Mr. Tran Thien Phu, Director of Glamping Hub, shared: The two destinations Panaroma Glamping and Tropical eglamping in Dong Nai were formed on ancient cashew gardens that are 40-50 years old. The destinations are all in prime locations, allowing visitors to have a panoramic view of Tri An Lake and the peaceful countryside. This is one of the few destinations that retains its natural wildness while still ensuring comfort: tents with air conditioning, evening BBQ, free machine-brewed coffee and many exploration activities. The fact that Panorama Glamping and Tropical eglamping were both honored in 2025 is not only a source of pride for the Glamping Hub team but also a milestone affirming the position of Vietnamese glamping on the global experiential tourism map. Every year, the above two destinations of Glamping Hub welcome tens of thousands of visitors to relax and experience the services. This confirms the appeal of glamping tourism, which is becoming a trend to attract tourists, giving tourists every trip not only a place to rest but also a way to feel nature with all senses and suitable for all generations.

Along with the two destinations Panorama Glamping and Tropical eglamping, Dong Nai tourism has previously been honored at international awards and organizations such as: Cat Tien National Park was awarded 4 international ecotourism awards 2025 (AEN-IEA 2025) by the Asia Ecotourism Network (AEN) in the categories: Biodiversity Conservation Category, Ecotourism Promotion Category, Destination Governance Category, Community Champion Category; World's 10 Best Boutique Hotel Awards 2025 for Cat Tien Jungle Lodge Resort in Nam Cat Tien commune, Dong Nai province; The ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Certification Program (ICRT-SEA) has just announced that the Ta Lai Eco Lodge tourism product at the Ta Lai Community Tourism Village in Ta Lai Commune, Dong Nai Province won the Southeast Asia Responsible Tourism Award 2025; Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve was recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park at the 18th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Environment (AMME-18), taking place in Malaysia in early September 2025.

Positioning the green tourism brand of Dong Nai

In addition to green, high-quality destinations recognized by international tourism organizations, Dong Nai also has many impressive destinations, carrying values ​​of biodiversity; cultural, historical values ​​and Dong Nai people such as: Bu Gia Map National Park, Mai Waterfall - Bau Nuoc Boi Tourist Area, Chua Chan Mountain Scenic Area and modern entertainment areas such as: Buu Long Tourist Area, Suoi Mo, Ula Resort Glamping...

Located in the North of Dong Nai province, Bu Gia Map National Park has a total natural area of ​​over 25,500 hectares. The population living in this area is mainly M'nong and Stieng ethnic groups. Bu Gia Map National Park is considered to have high biodiversity in the region and in the world. The park not only plays an important role in forest protection, conservation of rare animals and plants, but also protects the headwaters of hydroelectric reservoirs, regulates the climate and especially protects the national border with the Kingdom of Cambodia. In addition to its environmental values, the park also has great significance for sustainable socio-economic development in the locality.

Mr. Vuong Duc Hoa, Director of Bu Gia Map National Park, said: With the characteristics of the transitional area from the Central Highlands to the Southern Delta, Bu Gia Map National Park is exploiting tourist routes to explore forest resources, waterfalls, and natural landscapes. These tourist routes are highly appreciated by tourists. In particular, in 2022, the garden was recognized by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment with 39 trees in the garden as Vietnam Heritage Trees, helping Bu Gia Map National Park promote the richness and diversity of flora, ancient and rare tree species, contributing to making Bu Gia Map National Park an attractive destination, connecting with travel agencies and businesses to develop routes and attractions, creating product diversity, stimulating the local tourism market.

In addition to wild nature tourism destinations, Dong Nai is promoting large-scale tourism projects, identified as strengths and opportunities for tourism to break through in the coming time, such as: Chua Chan Mountain Eco-tourism Resort Project; Tourism project at Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board; tourism projects in Tri An Lake area, Dong Nai Nature - Cultural Reserve...

Speaking at the working session with departments and branches to review tourism projects in the province, comrade Le Truong Son, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to continue to focus on coordinating and promoting development projects, especially projects in Chua Chan mountain area and Nui Le lake; tourism projects at Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board... to ensure the progress of tourism projects in the province.

Assessing tourism activities in Dong Nai province in recent times, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son acknowledged that Dong Nai province's tourism industry has achieved many positive results. Thereby, it is estimated that the last months of 2025 and the Lunar New Year 2026 will see many cultural and sports activities and many other major events. This is an opportunity for the tourism industry to strongly promote its advantages and new tourism products to attract tourists.
