Can Tho City Police support people in Khanh Hoa province to overcome consequences caused by floods

(CT) - The Youth and Women's Committees of Can Tho City Police recently made a trip to Dien Khanh and Dien Dien communes (Khanh Hoa province) to visit and support people affected by floods.

The delegation presented many gifts including necessities, food, clothes... with a total value of nearly 400 million VND. The funding was mobilized from members of the City Police and the cooperation of benefactors. The gifts were sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Khanh and Dien Dien communes so that the local authorities could coordinate and arrange to deliver them directly to the people, ensuring timeliness and to the right recipients.

The delegation also visited, encouraged and supported 4 families who were severely affected by the floods. The delegation gave each family a gift of 10 million VND in cash and a welfare bag (essential necessities), hoping to help people stabilize their lives soon.
