Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to organize the preparation of investment proposal documents (pre-feasibility study report or investment proposal report) for the projects of Road D21, Road D30, Pham Van Dieu Road and Xom La Bridge.
Along with that, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and guide relevant localities to carry out procedures for adjusting and updating construction planning related to projects. The Department of Agriculture and Environment guided localities with projects to carry out procedures related to updating and adjusting land use planning and land recovery for project implementation. The Department of Finance reviewed, balanced, and advised the Provincial People's Committee to report to competent authorities to arrange capital for project implementation when the documents and capital sources are qualified.
The projects of D21 road, D30 road, Pham Van Dieu road and Xom La bridge are projects that Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City have agreed to prioritize joint implementation in the period of 2026-2030 to connect traffic between the two localities. In particular, the Xom La bridge project and the connecting road from Provincial Road 768 to Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City have a total length of about 2.9km; of which, the length of Xom La bridge is about 400m; the connecting road to Provincial Road 768 is about 600m and the expansion of Pham Van Dieu road has a length of about 1.9km, with a road width of 42m.
The D21 road project has a length of about 3.2km and is expected to be built on the scale of an urban road with 4-6 lanes. The D30 road project has a length of about 1.8km and is expected to be built on the scale of an urban road with 4 lanes.
