In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang city strives to deploy 2,000 youth projects applying digital transformation.

DNO - On the morning of December 6, in the political report presented to the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang City, term 2025 - 2030, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Ba Duan said that the congress set out many key goals for the new term; including implementing 2,000 projects and tasks for youth to apply science and technology associated with digital transformation.

According to the Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, during the past term, propaganda and education work, especially education on revolutionary ideals, politics, ideology, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for the young generation, was widely deployed, associated with digital transformation to improve efficiency.

Youth Union organizations have developed many youthful communication tools and products suitable for the internet and social media environment, contributing to spreading positive information and strengthening political capacity for young people.

Revolutionary action movements were widely deployed, promoting the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of youth in building and defending the Fatherland. All activities put youth at the center, creating an environment for training and growth, while affirming the role and prestige of the Youth Union in social life.

Through that, the city's youth make important contributions to the implementation of political tasks, socio -economic development and maintenance of security and order of the city.

The youth volunteer movement continues to be the strength of the Youth Union. During the term, the city organized more than 10,056 volunteer activities with more than 2 million union members participating; built 24 city-level youth projects and 9,489 grassroots projects, with a total value of more than 43 billion VND.

At the same time, the “Creative Youth” movement has spread strongly, demonstrating the pioneering role of youth in researching and applying new technologies. Notable among them are the “Student Scientific Research” contest, the “Community Digital Technology Team” model and teams supporting people in using online public services.

Many effective and in-depth models have been replicated, linked to the expertise of each youth group, contributing to solving new problems of the city.

Youth companion programs are implemented comprehensively, from studying, career guidance - employment, starting a business, to improving cultural life, spirit and skills.

In the work of the Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Youth Team, many creative educational models have been implemented, contributing to raising awareness of the role of caring for and protecting children. The team has supported more than 772,000 children in remote and disadvantaged areas with a total budget of nearly 25 billion VND.

International youth work has made many new strides, notably volunteer programs in Laos and the "Da Nang City English Olympic" contest, contributing to improving integration capacity for young people.

The work of participating in Party building has been promoted; the Youth Union has trained and introduced 15,598 outstanding members to the Party, of which 8,589 members were admitted, contributing to supplementing the young force for the Party in the new period.

With the motto of action “ Solidarity - Pioneering - Courage - Breakthrough - Development”, the congress set out key targets. Of which, 100% of union officials and members met the requirements of studying the resolution; 80% of youth were informed of the resolution and policies.

3 million youth volunteers; 2,000 youth projects applying science and digital transformation; eliminating at least one environmental "black spot" each year and planting 1 million trees; implementing youth projects in border and island areas; 100% of Youth Union bases have models for maintaining security and order.

80% of young people participate in digital capacity building activities; 30 start-up projects are supported; 300,000 young people are trained in foreign languages; 1 million disadvantaged children are supported.

100% of Youth Union cadre data is digitized; 50% of Youth Union members have excellently completed their tasks; the youth gathering rate has reached 80%; 21,000 outstanding Youth Union members have been introduced to the Party...

To achieve the above goals, the Youth Union strengthens education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyle; continues to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; and deploys the movement "Da Nang Youth Pioneers in the New Era" with 5 priority directions: technology - innovation, economic development, international integration, volunteering for the community, and protecting the Fatherland.

At the same time, implement the program "Comprehensive development of Da Nang youth", focus on the work of being in charge of the Team according to the motto "Building the Team is building the Union one step ahead", promote international youth work and build a strong Union in politics, ideology, ethics and organization, supplement the source of quality young cadres for the Party; actively protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against wrong arguments, especially in cyberspace.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang city will continue to innovate, create, compete to achieve many achievements, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang city, term 2025 - 2030; contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
