(Dan Tri) - The apartment complex in Dong Da district ( Hanoi ) is becoming a destination attracting a large number of young people, patiently waiting for hours just to get check-in photos to welcome Christmas.
Young people gathered in large numbers, filling the alley to take early Christmas photos ( Video : Tien Bui - Tuan Ninh).
Arriving at D6 Trung Tu apartment complex, alley 4B Dang Van Ngu street (Dong Da district, Hanoi) at 9am, Dan Tri reporter was surprised to see that the coffee shops were constantly full. Notably, the area outside the apartment complex was decorated with all kinds of pine trees, teddy bears, and colorful Santa Claus, attracting the attention of many young people. The crowded scene, jostling each other, waiting to check-in made the small alley "overloaded".
From Vinh Phuc to Hanoi to "verify" Christmas check-in locations
Accidentally seeing beautiful Christmas decoration pictures on social networks, Dieu Linh (born in 2005) did not mind the long distance, determined to invite her lover to travel nearly 20km from Vinh Phuc to Hanoi to "verify" this place with her own eyes. Dieu Linh confided: "I am studying military service far from the center of Hanoi, so I took advantage of the weekend to ask my teachers' permission to go to Hanoi to take pictures with my friends. I also anticipated the crowded scene at the shops at this time, so I proactively woke up early at 7am to put on makeup, prepare clothes to go to the coffee shop at 10am". Around noon, the coffee shops in lane 4B Dang Van Ngu street were quickly filled with people coming and going. Dieu Linh and her boyfriend planned to arrive at noon to avoid the crowds and have more space. But when they arrived, they still had to wait patiently for another 30-40 minutes to take photos in the most beautiful area of the cafe. The girl born in 2005 took advantage of the opportunity to take Christmas photos early because of her military training schedule that lasts until the end of December. "If I don't get a satisfactory set of photos today, it will probably be difficult for me to arrange free time to continue," she said. According to Dieu Linh, the cafe has a rather modest area but is decorated eye-catchingly with a space filled with Christmas colors. She revealed that she has been following this place since 2023 but has not had the opportunity to visit during the year-end holiday season. For the girl born in 2005, the D6 Trung Tu apartment complex, alley 4B Dang Van Ngu street is one of the most beautiful places to take Christmas photos in Hanoi. Dieu Linh feels the effort is completely worth it, no matter how long the wait is as long as you have beautiful photos to bring home. Dieu Linh doesn't see the time spent as useless because she needs beautiful photos to celebrate Christmas. Meanwhile, Dao Tra Giang (born in 2004) - a student at Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema - planned to take Christmas photos early because she thought that the shops would have few visitors and she could freely "live virtual" as she liked. However, when she arrived at the shop at 9am, Tra Giang was surprised by the bustling, bustling scene, many young people also came here to check-in "live virtual" Christmas early like her. "I have come here many times during the week, but there are no seats. The area and seats here are quite small. If you don't come before opening time, you have to stand outside waiting for everyone to leave", the female student shared.
Waited for an hour and only took 2-3 satisfactory photos
Feeling the atmosphere of the upcoming year-end festival, Dao Huyen (born in 2005, Hanoi) and her friends were quite impatient, wanting to take photos early to post on Christmas Day. To have a complete look from makeup, hair to matching clothes, Dao Huyen spent about two hours getting ready at home. When she arrived at the coffee shop, she was quite sad because she couldn't take any nice photos because the number of people coming in and out of the alley area was getting more and more crowded. Dao Huyen shared: "I came here at 12 o'clock and waited for nearly two hours but still couldn't take any satisfactory photos. Not everyone who comes early can check in first, if you don't hurry, someone else will take the best spot. Since we've already come here, my friends and I tried to stay a little longer to finish taking the Christmas photos. Whether it's beautiful or not, when we get home, we'll edit and adjust the angles to make it harmonious and neat." Dao Huyen (far left) quite likes the Christmas decorations of coffee shops. Dao Huyen revealed that her group of friends planned to take photos of Tet ao dai the next day to avoid the crowded situation like this Christmas. Taking photos 1-2 months in advance is an experience the female student learned after many unsuccessful "virtual life" attempts. Not only Gen Z (those born between 1996-2012), coffee shops in the complex on Dang Van Ngu street are also chosen by many families to bring their children to take photos. The loud noise and crying of children have more or less affected the lives of the people around. In recent days, the image of dozens of young people defying difficulties, crowding together in a small alley to take Christmas photos has attracted the attention and curiosity of the online community. The peaceful alley gradually "disappeared" before the appearance of many visitors coming to take pictures. Despite the unfavorable weather in Hanoi, the heat has started to return, the "muses" still try to wear winter clothes including fur coats, sweaters, scarves... to match the idea of the photo shoot. After completing the "virtual life" photos at the most beautiful angles of the cafe, they quickly go inside to change into simpler, more comfortable clothes to relax, enjoy drinks and rest before leaving. "The weather is beautiful and sunny, but there are too many people gathering here, making the air stuffy and hotter than outside. I tried to squeeze into the crowd to quickly take a few photos as souvenirs. If I look back at the photos and they are not beautiful, I will come back here on a weekday evening when it is less crowded and cooler", Bich Diep (born 2001) confided.
