More than 84% of customers affected by floods have had power restored.

DNO - By 7 a.m. on November 1, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) had restored power to more than 400,000 customers, reaching more than 84% of the number of customers affected by the recent historic floods.

There are currently 75,261 customers without electricity, equivalent to 1.52% of the total number of customers of EVNCPC and 3.19% of the number of customers of 4 Power Companies including Da Nang , Quang Tri, Hue and Quang Ngai.

EVNCPC has handled 516/599 incidents, reaching over 86%. The number of distribution transformer stations still without power is 763 stations (1.33% of the whole system). Estimated load capacity is currently lost at about 42 MW (1.15% of EVNCPC's maximum capacity).

At Da Nang Electricity Company, there are currently 71,482 customers (8.15%) and 717 transformer stations (6.98%) without electricity, mainly in the midlands, mountainous areas and deeply flooded areas.

Quang Tri Electricity Company has 2,372 customers (0.45%); Hue Electricity Company has 1,008 customers (0.29%); Quang Ngai Electricity Company has 399 customers (0.06%).

On the 110kV grid, some lines and stations have temporarily stopped operating due to landslides and separation. Units are urgently inspecting the scene, repairing and gradually restoring power, in which the load of the 110kV Nam Tra My station has been partially supplied with power according to the backup plan.

EVNCPC said it is mobilizing all human resources and means and coordinating with local authorities to urgently complete the restoration of power supply and soon stabilize people's lives in the Central region.
