At around 10:00 p.m. on October 31, Avuong Commune Police received an urgent phone call from Mr. Arat Blui, Chairman of Tay Giang Commune People's Committee, requesting coordination to help transfer a critically ill child patient to the hospital, because the road from Tay Giang Commune to Avuong Commune was being eroded.

Immediately afterwards, Avuong Commune Police reported to the commune authorities to mobilize local security forces, people, and vehicles to help take Bling Iu (born 2014, Z'ruot village, Tay Giang commune) to the emergency room.

Previously, the regional medical line diagnosed Bling Iu with acute appendicitis in an abnormal location, in critical condition, and needed to be transferred to the Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital for timely treatment.

Under the dark night of heavy rain, strong wind, slippery road with a series of landslides on the inter-commune road, the Avuong Commune Police force and the patient's family persistently "transferred" by foot and many other means, bringing the child patient to the ambulance.

At around 4:00 a.m. on November 1, Bling Iu was safely taken to the Da Nang Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and promptly received treatment.

Avuong Commune Police said that the force is still on duty 24/24 hours, ready to support people in any emergency situation. When needing help, people can contact Avuong Commune Police via phone number: 0235.379.6502.
