Hanoi stops fireworks display at the closing ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair in 2025

On October 31, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Document No. 5867/UBND-NC to the Steering Committee of the 1st Autumn Fair in 2025 regarding the suspension of fireworks display at the closing ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair in 2025.

Accordingly, on October 29, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Document No. 5801/UBND-NC on organizing fireworks at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Autumn Fair according to the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Document No. 5635/BVHTTDL-BQTG dated October 23 and the plan of Vingroup Corporation.

However, at present, the Central provinces are being severely affected by prolonged floods, causing serious damage to people, property and infrastructure. In the spirit of sharing and accompanying people in disaster-hit areas, the Hanoi People's Committee has proposed to stop organizing fireworks displays at the closing ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair in 2025.
